  Can anyone help me out?

  i have been trying to find a copy of the latest blood card/advanced directive that gives the liaison committee the right to access medical records.

  i have tried searching for it on several web sites to no avail.

  i would like to use it in a presentation i am giving to my peers regarding ethics and jw's.. thanks in advance,.

  Sons of Jehovah’s Witnesses return from Iraq without welcome

  two brothers, jason and johel woodliff, came back from iraq with their comrades in a marine corps battalion that lost 48 members, greeted by a mile-long parade attended by thousands of strangers.

  but not by their family.

  the brothers, their parents and j.r. brown, director of public information for the watchtower bible tract society, all speak out about jehovahs witnesses and military service.

  the wts would prefer to believe they possess a balanced view of education.

  "no hard-and-fast rules should be made either for or against extra education" w92 11/1 p.15

  it has even acknowledged that college education may be necessary in certain job markets today.

  A Cleansing

  after many months of letting the junk pile up, me and my husband set out to tackle cleaning up the garage today so that i could start parking my car in there again as the cold weather is coming.. as we were working he said to me "okay these jehovah's witnesses books have to go".

  when we first moved in three years ago, i had taken all of my jw books and put them into a storage container out in the garage.

  at that point i felt like i was betraying jehovah if i threw out the books.. well three years later and i said "okay, but first we must rip out my name out of them all".

  Threw out my first set of Magazines!

  i had to take my wife to the hospital today for a blood test.

  as i was waiting for her in the waiting room, i spotted a set of magazines that looked familiar.

  it was the watchtower and awake in french.

  update on my neutropenia

  went to dr. again, they believe i am either severly malnourished or have cancer.

  so there i sit and wanted to laugh because with all the test that they have taken, i am still in the same bag i was several weeks ago.

  took more blood for more tests.

  I gave the PO a letter tonight

  tonight was the school/service meeting at the kh, and myself and dedpoet drove there at the end of the meeting to see the po.

  we didn't go in the hall, we just waited outside the gates for the po to come out, then i handed him my letter, saying it was to get things over with and save the necessity of a jc.

  he didn't ask what it was, i think he knew, especially when he saw dp give me the thumbs up sign, but asked me to reconsider, but i said my mind is made up, i am leaving, and i want it out in the open as soon as possible.

  hey all - glad to be back .

  in case you've been wondering (and since i haven't been on - no power obviously), the damage down here in fort lauderdale is quite extensive.

  i've been hearing from others that the media has been downplaying the severity of the the hit - but for those of us going through it, it was quite impressive.
